Roll the die, flip the hourglass, and solve puzzles with the right pieces. Are you the fastest? Shout 'Ubongo!' and move your piece on the board. Be the first, and take 2 gemstones. For others, the game continues swiftly. Puzzle and collect gemstones as long as the hourglass runs.

Each player starts with a set of 12 tiles. At the round's start, everyone gets a new puzzle board. The die determines which tiles can be used. Someone flips the hourglass, and all players simultaneously cover their boards with the specified tiles. Shout 'Ubongo!' if you succeed within the time and grab a gemstone. The two fastest players get an extra gem from the round track. After 9 rounds, the player with the most valuable gem collection wins!
